Mary Potter Hospice helps people make the most of their final months, weeks and days of life. Our specialist team partners with other health services to deliver palliative care for patients and their whānau with aroha and mana. We offer this care at our in-patient unit in Newtown and in peoples’ homes across Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti. Job Description
The position
We are seeking an experienced executive to lead the planning and delivery of our fundraising and to support our fundraising team. The role also includes oversight of marketing and communications for volunteer recruitment, our retail operations and running Hospice events. Reporting to the CE, the Director is a member of the senior leadership team, focussing on strategy, values, planning and culture.

leading and growing the returns from not-for-profit fundraising
executive leadership across a medium sized values-based organization
leading and managing creative, high performing, professional teams
developing data driven innovative fundraising methods
